Did some fan work of Ben’s Stuff at 3PO. Didn’t have a script from Houston and wanted to post something. Here ya go people. Go read Ben’s stuff now!

Hopefully I can get the cash to get everything set for ACEN. I wanna get the t-shirts ready, prints, posters, maybe even sample books. Also gonna redo the convention banner.

So here’s the deal. We went on a little hiatus cause Houston was moving and I was getting some life situations going. We end hiatus and kick it off with Ben hooking us up with a killer chapter cover/guest comic. I then post a comic the next week. THEN!…webhosting goes down and I haven’t had the money till now to get it back.

Which brings me to my next point. WE ARE BACK! And I’m gonna get something going with merchandise. Maybe prints/poster and bookmarks or something. Just till I get the t-shirts ordered and made up.

So the webhosting for OTM expires after today. I have the money to pay off the hosting (along with my friend Mark), I just need to get to my bank to pay it off. Currently have work and the town I work in is about 20min away from my nearest bank, so I have to go afterwards. Who knows if the money will be deposited tonight even.

The new chapter 2 cover is up! As you can tell it is
titled “Chapter 2: Destructive Tendencies”.

This was done by Ben from Three Panel Opera.
I came to him asking if he would like to do this so I can spend more time
on the comics and so I can see his take on the characters lol.

Ok, so the new comic is pretty much ready to go. Just the chapter 2 cover is on moments hold.

I’m having a friend and talented artist do the Chapter 2 cover as a guest art/comic type thing. It’s something I wanna try doing for all the chapters but we will see. Something big came up for him, so I’m pushing the “re-opening” back a week to see where things go. So he may or may not still do it.

Good news is I’m pretty excited bout posting the new comics. They are lookin pretty good so far.

Hiatus…something I never wanted to be associated with OTM. Sadly, it applies this time.

Houston was moving and I started a new job that is part time, but tries ever so hard to be full time lol. I like it a lot though, so no probs there.

Chapter 2 is gonna start with us hittin the ground running (yes Houston used that phrase in his rant). Chapter 2 cover is being made, two comics are in the works, and even a few new designs are being made. Also thinking of something new to add to the site, but that’s not what’s important here, now is it?

I’m excited

It’s been almost 6 months since my last entry, so I feel like a little explanation is in order.

To begin, I’m not dead. This will shock some, as I have seriously had people call me to ask me that. Seriously. I moved. At the time of my last post I was moving from New Albany, IN to Lexington, KY. That move was complicated by the fact that i had little money left and I needed to find a job as soon as I got there. I hit the ground running, literally spending 8+ hours a day riding around searching for a place of employment. That all seemed to pay off, albeit late, as I finally managed to land a decent job.

No sooner had I found a decent job there, than life became hectic with work and bill payments. I kind of got lost in it all, while trying to get back into school as well. My projects fell by the wayside, and it got a bit comfy doing that. Then, by random chance, just as my bills were getting paid, I decided to do something wreck less:

I decided to move to Portland, Or.

It had been my goal for quite some time, and I figured that, with nothing holding me back, there was no reason NOT to take the plunge. So I packed up everything and once again moved, only this time across the country. Fast forward 3 weeks, and you have me here, relatively safe and pretty damn happy. Today I sent off the first couple of scripts to Ryan, in hopes that he’ll draw them before…I dunno, Christmas.
Not so easy having a full-time gig, eh? *Jabs*

As for me, I’m taking on two new projects and I start building three new websites this week. Then next week I’ll be designing like crazy and drawing My new comic plus starting up my others. I have more free time here than I ever did before, and I’m excited to get everything running again. Now that i’ve settled into life, I’ll be updating more often, prolly once every week or so. I’m really glad to be back, and I look forward to getting OTM to great heights again with Ryan.

Yaaaaa….a new job haha.

Yes, I just started a new job at a copy shop out in Steger, IL where I am employed as a graphic designer. Bout time, dammit!

And yes, Chapter 2 is starting this week!!

So that is it for Chapter One: Wanderlust. Basically a chapter about settling in and introduction of the cast. Let’s see what we have to come with chapter 2!
